• We offer full landscape design and installation services, along with complete site maintenance; our best-looking accounts are the ones that we manage the watering, fertilizing, mowing, and shrub care. In fact, we were awarded Silver and Gold Environmental Improvement Awards in 2008 and 2009 by the Michigan Green Industry Association (MGIA) for our efforts in this regard.
• Peacock Landscaping is the only lawn care company in St. Clair County Endorsed for the Healthy Lawn Care Program for Watershed Protection, sponsored by Michigan Green Industry Association, which promotes the use of phosphorus free fertilizers, slow-release nitrogen fertilizer, and pesticides only where needed.
• Our lawn care programs consist of only granular, slow-release fertilizers (phosphorus free too!), and liquid spray for weed control. You won’t find us using “weed-n-feed” products which put pesticides where we don’t need them.
• Our continuous promotion of proper irrigation practices for healthier turf and plants and simple upgrades to save money on your water bill, and save our resources.
• These practices, which focus on proper cutting, slow-release fertilization and water conservation, won our company the Green Business Award by the Port Huron Chamber of Commerce in 2009!
